Do remember that every pregnancy is different and your baby’s growth may be a little faster or slower than the norm. The due date is only an estimate. A full term pregnancy can range between 38 and 42 weeks — that is, either a little before or after the date given to you by the doctor. A baby born after the 24th week and before the 37th week is considered preterm or premature. A baby born after the 40th week is considered post-term or overdue and your doctor may suggest inducing the birth.
If you are worried or have any doubts at any stage of your pregnancy, consult your doctor immediately. Good luck and take care! *Please note that all measurements given in this guide are approximations only and will differ from one mother/ child to another.
